Volunteer Corner: Volunteers Help Native Plant Pollinator Garden Establish Roots

In our last newsletter, we shared Brianna Kramer’s Eagle Scout project, the installation of a native plant pollinator garden at The Nature Reserve Headquarters. The garden is thriving and was the perfect home for an oak tree donated by longtime school program volunteer, Marsha Medina. Marsha grew the tree from an acorn and now it is enjoyed by visitors to The Nature Reserve Headquarters. Volunteers have also been coming by to water and weed the garden, helping it establish its roots. Special thanks to Dick Hager and Wolfgang and Donna Greinke for their service in the garden. If you would like to help us maintain our pollinator garden, please send us a message to Volunteer Coordinator.
